ABOUT THE EVENT

On the morning of our Pancake Breakfast, Mother Nature decided to add a little excitement with some rain. But if we’ve learned anything about our people, it’s that a little weather isn’t going to stop a good time. We still had an amazing turnout of friends, family, clients, neighbors, and some of our favorite faces. And once everyone arrived, the fun was officially on.

We had cornhole, basketball, pickleball, and plenty of yard games happening throughout the morning. Our caricature artist stayed busy almost the entire event, creating the cutest portraits of our guests. Watching everyone see their finished drawings was easily one of our favorite parts of the day, and now they have a little keepsake from the morning they can hold onto forever.

Meanwhile, Julien took his post at the pancake station and flipped pancakes until everybody was fed and happy. And no pancake breakfast would be complete without an appropriately over-the-top topping bar. We had sprinkles, Nutella, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, syrup, and enough whipped cream to make even the most responsible adult reconsider their pancake-to-topping ratio.

Of course, we couldn’t let anyone leave empty-handed either. Every guest went home with a goodie bag filled with little surprises, along with a handy fridge magnet designed to make cooking at home just a little bit easier. It was one more small way for us to send everyone home with something fun and useful to remember the day by.

And because we really love an excuse to spoil our people, everyone who came through was also entered into our raffle.

We had some incredible prizes up for grabs, including State Fair tickets, day passes to WorldSprings Spa, a Spoiled Pup Bundle complete with a huge dog bed, toys, and a cozy blanket, a Stanley gift basket, a $100 Amazon gift card, and the grand prize… a 55-inch TV!

But the prizes, pancakes, and games weren’t really what made the day special. It was seeing everyone together. It was catching up with clients who have become friends, meeting new faces, watching families laugh together, and getting to spend a Saturday morning surrounded by the people who continue to support The X Group year after year.

We had an absolute blast putting this event together, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out and made it such a special day. Spoiling our people is one of our favorite things to do, and we hope this was just one of many more mornings, celebrations, and memories we’ll get to create together. Thank you for being part of The X Group family. We can’t wait to do it again.
